This thread is a couched thread, meaning it’s intended to lay over the top of the intended stitched area, and tacked down with a thread in a similar color or invisible thread.

I love this thread for the Pink Tree and the Tinsel Tree (view photos above!).  It gives the canvas some extra pizazz with a little vintage flair!
